The perfect African experience.

One of the most beautiful places in the world to see animals. Known for its walking safaris Zambia is a safe and friendly country. During your 8 day trip you will be hosted by Thornicroft Lodge near the South Luangwa National Park. You also will do something many who go on safari to Africa never get a chance to do, visit local villages, meet local families and share in local celebrations.

Your experiences will include 6 game drives (you can add additional drives if you wish) a trip to Chipembele Wildlife Education center, an art safari at Tribal Textiles, a local soccer game, a visit to a village borehole (water well) the life sustaining center of each village, and enjoy an optional trip to the local Bush Spa at Mfuwe Lodge. In addition you will have the opportunity to visit one or more of our reading centers and meet some of the local kids who are learning to read and write English.

You’ll share comfortable rooms at a premier lodge and all meals on the banks of the Luangwa River with a small group of no more than 12.
